Hallo!
I am expecting my third baby this fall! And after processing the surprise news, it had me travelling back down memory lane reminiscing on all things I cherished with my older two.
It also had me looking up my wish lists and what I actually ended up depending on in those first few weeks of bringing my babies home.

This was an absolute game changer with my second born. And then once I learned how to use it properly, it was even smoother sailing. Basically, it works through suction to collect all the letdown from the breast your baby is not feeding off of.
These are my absolute favourite. The muslin fabric is so soft compared to others I have tried in the past. Also make sure you pay attention to sizing, because 47 inches x 47 inches (120 cm x 120 cm) is the only way to go! Otherwise you end up with a blanket that is too small for swaddling. These also I use for burp clothes or put down as a play area over the rug - incase of spit up.
Always get the double zipper - especially for any clothing baby will be wearing through the night. This makes those nighttime changes so much easier. And this brand linked here, has the extra cloth to fold over for the hands and feet, which I use when they are so new and their finger nails seem to grow at a rapid pace. They are a bit pricey compared to other single zipper or snap sleepers, but it is worth it for the night time chnages and that they also grow with your baby so I find we can use them for longer periods of time then the standard sleeper.
