When our days get too busy - you can find us #baking in the kitchen - slowing down, sharing conversation, and brainstorming new ideas.

We keep it super simple with the recipe:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp yeast

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix sugar and wet ingredients first. Then mix dry ingredients. In our case we mixed them all in together and it worked out fine.

Sugar Cookies! Baking these with my littles is one of my favourite holiday traditions. Throw on some Christmas music and hearing all about how they will decorate them, and watch their creativity shine.

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup butter (melted)
3 eggs
2 cups of flour

2. Mix in sugar, olive oil, lemon zest and melted butter and eggs
3. mix in the remainder of ingrediebts
4.grease baking pan
5. bake for 35-40 minutes

(2) The island workspace and eat-in bar. This is very uncommon here, however I love having the kids around and the space to cook together.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend! We are headed to a barbecue this afternoon, and if you are like me and not blessed with baking skills it’s hard to know what to bring. Actually I fail at baking quite often because I improvise as I cook, but in baking you have to be quite set in your ingredients otherwise things go wrong. So I felt immense pressure to be perfect starting this cake and we’ll it turned out pretty darn good if you ask me. 🎂🍓
