When our days get too busy - you can find us #baking in the kitchen - slowing down, sharing conversation, and brainstorming new ideas.

We keep it super simple with the recipe:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp yeast

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix sugar and wet ingredients first. Then mix dry ingredients. In our case we mixed them all in together and it worked out fine.

Apple filling. Two sweet red apples finely sliced. Melted butter and brown sugar (to taste).

Sugar Cookies! Baking these with my littles is one of my favourite holiday traditions. Throw on some Christmas music and hearing all about how they will decorate them, and watch their creativity shine.

I started this painting months ago and keep coming up with excuses as to why I can’t find time to build on it. Mostly it comes back to “not feeling in the mood” “feeling too tired” “sore legs, sore back”.

1 lemon juiced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup butter (melted)
3 eggs
2 cups of flour
1 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp baking soda

1. preheat oven to 125 degrees C
2. Mix in sugar, olive oil, lemon zest and melted butter and eggs
3. mix in the remainder of ingrediebts
4.grease baking pan
5. bake for 35-40 minutes
